I LOVED The Crystal Skulls! What great characters and what a wonderful world you have created! You should be very excited about this book.

I liked this book a LOT! I think the story and the character development are certainly on par with those of some of my favorite authors (David Drake, Robert Jordan, David Eddings, Katharine Kurtz,
Stephen R. Donaldson, and Terry Goodkind).

"Mr. Jan Visser,
I enjoyed reading your first book and I am definitely
going to read the rest in the series whenever they
come out. Your book is now one of my all time
favorites, along with the Harry Potter series and the
Lord of the Ring series. I felt that the characters
were truly one of the best features of this book.
They were some of the most life-like characters that I
have ever come across in a fictional novel. Once I
started reading, I had a hard time putting it down
until I finished. I look forward to reading your next
piece of work, and would recommend The Crystal Skulls
to any readers looking for a fun book to read."

"The Crystal Skulls is a book
that surprised me. As I read the first few pages, I was sure I wouldnt like it. But
it didnt take long for the characters to draw me into their world and I had to keep
turning the pages to see what would happen next. When I finished the book I actually wished
for a volume 2 in order to find out what the characters did next. The world in which
The Crystal Skulls takes place is not our world and the physical
appearance of some of the characters are very alien to us. But inside these individuals are
character traits that are readily identifiable and ones we can relate to easily.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and hope the author has plans for a follow-up book soon."

"Jan Visser's The Crystal Skulls
is an entertaining adventure with engaging characters and a crisp pace. He
offers an interesting blend of fantasy, magic, and a little
bit of science, and it all adds up to a fresh perspective in
the fantasy genre."
Susan K. Hamilton, author of Darkstar Rising.

"I love fantasy and this book is really great! I love the characters and
the games you invented, especially pogobo. I couldn't stop reading untill I had
finished it. Please do write another one, and I'll read it with pleasure!"

"The Crystal Skulls is Jan Vissers debut novel.
If he can make his follow-up just as intriguing as his freshman effort, I know he will be gaining a huge following.
Characters are strong and mesmerizing; the writing is fluid and pulls you into the story from the start;
and the adventure will keep any fantasy lover turning the pages.

"The Crystal Skulls by Jan Visser is an intriguing Fantasy.
It starts a little slowly, but quickly picks up pace towards the end of the story. The author leaves quite a bit
of unanswered questions throughout the novel leaving one to hope that he has a sequel in mind to wrap up some loose ends.
I would definitely recommend this story to anyone who enjoys experiencing new lands, fantastic creatures and just getting lost in the story."
